If you spend the money to have downriggers on your boat, you should spend the extra money for these low profile, stainless mounts. They look a lot better, and are way stronger.
Very good addition

I had two plastic mounts disintegrate as I fish in the northeast. It seemed my uneven mount and cold weather took its toll. I wish I bought the Stainless Steel ones first, rock solid.

I am very impressed with the quality of workmanship. I purchased two bases and was surprised to see they weigh a total of 9lbs. Unlike most folks, I use this Cannon product for mounting outriggers on my center console T-top. These versatile bases allow me full control to swivel my outrigger poles into any position whether running at wide open throttle or casting to surface action. I went to a local fabricator who quoted me $250 to make a comparable product.
ProsHigh quality construction Highly corrosion resistant Comes with installation hardware
