I have used these on a few offzhore fall trips and they performed excellent. Waterproofing seems to do the job as well. Very satisfied with all my Stomr purchases
ProsLots of pockets

Worked great for my son on our fishing trip to the outer banks N.C. he said he was very warm and dry when he wore the bibs, even out on our charter to the Gulf Stream for trigger fish, blue runner, red snapper & wahoo.
ProsNice comfortable fit, warm, dry & waterproof, was shipped very quickly to my home

Bib is of great quality and is very warm. Recommend to use during early spring, late fall.
Solid Cold Weather Bibs
May 23, 2018
I haven't had them long but recently used them a couple days this spring. Air temps started in the 40's and ended in the low 60's. No rain, so I can't comment on how waterproof they are. I can tell you that these things are very warm. Much warmer than I expected. You won't want to use these in temps higher than 55-60 degrees. They're also quite heavy (a little over 3lbs). I was a little worried about this but didn't really notice the weight once they were on. The construction is super solid and the neoprene material is stretchy and very comfortable. I'll be excited to use these for some late fall, Upstate NY smallmouth fishing!
Pros- Solid construction - Comfortable - Warm
Cons- Only meant for colder weather

2ND Pair - Two Thumbs Up
May 9, 2018
Loved my fist pair which I bought oversized for ice fishing. With the TackleDirect sale price I couldn't not buy a second pair for spring & fall trolling.
Conspockets are a little weird (NOT a problem)
May 7, 2018
I went fishing on my boat with this purchase. It was about 30 degrees and a 15 mph wind. I had a pair of insulated underwear under the bibs and I was warm. These bibs are true to size so if you want to put more under them you might want to consider a larger size. They have plenty of pockets, and are very comfortable. they work well for me. Lou
ProsWarm, Comfortable, plenty of pockets
ConsNo pee zipper but I worked that out.

I have owned Stormr gear before and loved how well it fits, delivers, and does it's job. So I got this FANTASTIC deal on the bibs. I have had good bibs on my wish list literally, for years. These things are the real deal. Warm? They're like an oven...in a good way!!! These will keep you warm and dry. Maybe overkill for some of my fishing but will be great on my Maine trips!! I wanted protection from the elements but never expected them to keep you so comfortably insulated that you fish with ease, longer. Only bummer was the pocket zippers stuck a little right off the bat but hope they will come 'round. Speaking of pockets, I'm a pocket freak and a zippered pocket freak even more; for cameras, nippers, glasses, pliers, etc... and these are well equipped and easy to get to. Love these bibs. Will likely never need another pair. Hell, I'll use these for snow mobiling and hunting too!!!
ProsUltimate warmth $$$$ - the promotional offer got me into the bibs I've dreamt of my whole life but never pulled the money trigger on!!
ConsMy pocket zippers were a little sticky. Maybe yours won't be.

I’m very happy with my purchase. I was out bass fishing with my buddy on a day that was suppose to stay in the mid to high 40’s. It didn’t. Tempeture dropped 10 to 15 degrees. I never ever felt it. Except for my hands. The rest of me was dry and warm. My buddy will be picking up a set soon.
ProsIt keeps you warm
ConsI don?t have any. Hope never to.

Liked my first pair so much I bought a second pair - one set is one size larger than other for ice fishing (2 XL's are good to below zero with insulated pants on underneath). Will use se my XL's for early spring and fall when the softwater is cold.
ProsWarm, light and flexible.
ConsThe only con I have found so far is that if the day warms up quickly you will get too warm quickly as well. Not much of a complaint.
Good quality warm dry bibs

Cold weather gear
March 12, 2018
Love my stormer rain suit, even wear it in cold weather to keep the wind from coming through. Probably not good for hot weather would be too warm, again excellent for cold weather.
ProsGreat for cold weather.
ConsProbably not for hot weather.

Best bibs for cold weather
January 23, 2018
I've used these bluefin tuna fishing this year, not been cold once and it was in the teens this year. Highly recommend if you fish in cold conditions.
ProsTrue fit. Dont order a size up.
ConsThese aren't cheap but neither is the material or construction method.
May 25, 2017
I purchased these prior to a week long fishing trip to Lake Erie. We fished through high winds and rain all week. The combination on waves coming over the side of the boat all week and the rain put these bibs to the ultimate test. There were 6 guys in our group fishing out of 2 boats. I was the only one still dry and warm at the end of the day!

I bought this bib for fall fishing for Tautogs! I used it early season squid fishing in Hyannis, MA where it was 40 degrees at night and this bib along with the stryker Jacket kept me warm all night fishing for squid. I had a pair of thermal pants under and a fleece under my jacket to keep the heat in. Washing the jacket and bib is very easy, I use a towel to spray it down with my hose and air dry it. Stormr makes great products and would recommend this to anyone.
ProsKeeps you warm in cold condition and easy to wash or clean
Consnone so far

I actually over heated in these. I went offshore in the gulf at 32 degrees. I figured I was going to freeze and be miserable, that was not the case. This bib completely blocked the wind and literally made me hot. I had to shed a layer when we got to the first rig. That is certainly a problem I would love to have!
ProsBlocks wind water proof comfortable
Consnon that i've found

I left a tournament on Lake Okeechobee, fishing in 80 degree weather, and drove to Lake Douglas in Dandridge,Tennessee to start fishing a tournament in 28 degree weather. The extreme weather change was unbearable for me and my traveling partner, both from Florida, but a friend from South Carolina seemed to be taking the cold weather much better. He allowed me to try on his Stormr Strikyr jacket and I immediately acknowledged the difference in weather protection. I immediately purchased both top and bottom when I returned home!
ProsProvides protection against both cold and wet weather, not bulky, heavy, or cumbersome!
ConsA bit pricey

I got to put these to the test in NC in Feb this year and couldnt have been happier. While everyone else was bundled up I was able to fish in comfort just wearing my stryker bibs and a long sleeve UV shirt. The fit around my bodies core was exceptional.Blood from the big bluefin we caught washed off easily
A definite must have.

Great product! It is exactly what the manufacturer says durable, warm, keeps the wind out product. I was fishing with my father who looked like the little kid from a Christmas Story all bundled up. We were in 15 degrees below 0 and 20-30 mph winds. My dad had to keep heading back to the truck to get warm. Mind you he was in a ice fishing suit and could not stay warm. He wore this suit the next trip and now is getting his own. With this and my Bogs boots it is the perfect combination for winter fishing and open boat fishing in rainy conditions.
ProsVery warm, and keeps wind and the water out. The best way to clean it is take it outside and spray it down.
ConsThis is basically a dry suit so the head piece is a bit bulky.
